Dr. Sung is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Michigan. He is the Surgical Director of Pancreas Transplantation at the University of Michigan Health System. He is also the Director of Islet Transplantation at the University of Michigan. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the American Society of Transplantation have supported his research in islet transplantation.
