What is in a SAF?

• Requests for SAFs require extended communication between the requestor and the SRTR team. See the data release process and process flow chart for more information.

Where do I make a request?

• Submit a request online
  Use the description field to indicate your request for a SAF, and provide some detail regarding the research to be conducted with the SAF.

What we're looking for?

• During the approval process the SRTR staff reviews the research question, looking for a clear and legitimate scientific purpose with sufficient merit to the transplant community, the appropriate data for study design, and the security of the data.
