Mr. Coleman is an attorney and renal transplant recipient. He has served as a trustee and officer of non-profit and religious organizations, including the National Kidney Foundation Patient Services, Public Policy and Public Education committees and Transactions Council. He has written extensively on the legal and ethical issues involved in advanced care planning, end of life decision making and palliative care in ESRD. He has also been a peer reviewer for the RPA/ASN and a participant in work groups on end of life care sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
