Mr. McCullough models patient outcomes for both the SRTR and the DOPPS project. He works with both statistical models (nonparametric and parametric survival, linear mixed models, etc.) and computer simulations to describe interrelationships between patient characteristics, policy, patterns of care, and outcomes. With respect to these models, he investigates methodology issues such as informative censoring and missing data imputation. He also helps write proposals, including work on sampling plans and power analyses, and reports, including annual reports and other published papers.
