Professor Emeritus Goldman specializes in microeconomic theory at the University of California, Berkeley and taught courses in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. His areas of research have included axiomatic issues of equity and efficiency (including the allocation of indivisible goods), incomplete markets and methods of economic planning including the control of infectious diseases and non-parametric estimation.
